BANGALORE: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa told the Legislative Assembly that security will be provided to Bharatiya Janata Party MP for Bangalore North H.T. Sangliana and action will be taken against those who attacked his office here on Wednesday.

He was replying to the calling attention notice of the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly M. Mallikarjun Kharge.

Condemned

Mr. Kharge condemned the attack on the MP’s office and demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits.

The MP was also manhandled.

Such incidents would create a law and order problem in the city, the Congress leader said.

Mr. Sangliana voted in favour of the United Progressive Alliance Government during the trust vote in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
