Local holiday

VIRUDHUNAGAR: A local holiday has been declared for educational institutions and government organisations in Virudhunagar district on August 4, in view of the Adi Pooram car festival at Natchiar Temple, Srivilliputtur. According to a press release from Collector V. Chandrasekaran, these institutions will work on September 13, Saturday, in lieu of the local holiday.
