Praveen bowls well
MYSORE: Mysore Gymkhana scored an emphatic 10-wicket victory over K.R. Nagar CC in the Sri Gopalaswami memorial tournament at the South Western Railway grounds here on Thursday. Medium-pacer M.G. Praveen was the architect of Gymkhana’s victory with a five-wicket haul.
The scores: K.R. Nagar CC 58 in 25 overs (M.G. Praveen five for 25) lost to Mysore Gymkhana 62 for no loss in 7.2 overs.
Mysore City Gymkhana 202 in 28 overs, including 40 penalty runs for four overs short (M.N. Deepak 40, Ananth four for 33) bt Garner CC 69 in 20.5 overs.
Vidyaranya CC 164 in 43.5 overs (Kiran 53) lost to South Western Railway (Mysore) 168 for four in 33 overs (Yoganand 73 n.o., Sharath Babu 51 n.o.).
