Aman helps AFS win title
NEW DELHI: Aman Singh headed home the match-winner in extra-time to give Air Force School (Subroto Park) a 2-1 victory over Delhi Public School (Vasant Kunj) in the final of the ONGC Cup Hind Kishore inter-school football tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Thursday.
The teams were locked 1-1 at the end of the regulation time. Ashwin scored for DPS in the first half before Jacob equalised for Air Force School in the second session.
Delhi Development Authority’s Director (Sports) D. Sarkar gave away the prizes.
