PUDUCHERRY: Activists of the Puducherry unit of the All India Road Transport Workers Federation (AIRTWF) on Thursday staged a demonstration here demanding among other things setting up of a welfare board to protect the interest of motor vehicle workers. Led by State committee member of the CPI (M) T. Murugan, workers participated in the demonstration held before the post office on Nehru Street.
