Chandigarh: Six people were killed on Thursday and 12 others injured when a private bus collided with a combined harvester in Tarn Taran district. Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal expressed sorrow and announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs.1 lakh each for the relatives of the dead and Rs.50,000 and Rs.25,000 each to victims with serious and minor injuries.
