Two girls drowned

Rourkela: Two minor girls were drowned in the village pond while bathing at village Bijadihi under Bonai police station, about 80 km from here today. Police said the girls Jharana Nag and Rachana Kumar both five years of age were drowned while bathing. The villagers rescued them and took them to bonai sub-divisional headquarters hospital where the doctor declared them brought dead. PTI
