Thiruvananthapuram: The textbook review committee headed by K.N. Panikkar will ascertain public opinion on the textbooks prescribed for schools in general and the Social Science textbook for Class VII in particular. The committee has devised three methods for the purpose. The first is to distribute a questionnaire to interested persons. It is available in the office of the committee in the Science and Technology Museum at PMG Junction in Thiruvananthapuram. The second is to invite opinions and suggestions from the general public. They could be written or e-mailed. They should reach the committee’s office before August 6. The e-mail should be sent to vkntbrc@gmail.com The third is to hold sittings in various places of the State. The sitting in Kozhikode will be held in the Shikshak Bhavan on August 10. Sittings will be held in Ernakulam, Kottayam and Thiruvananthapuram also. The questionnaire contains 20 questions.
