Banned from entering his native place

PUDUKOTTAI: The Judicial Magistrate, Padmanaban has, on Thursday, ordered a ban on the entry of a habitual prohibition offender into his native taluk for a period of three months.
The order banning the offender of Kaattunaval village, P. Pazhaniappan (39), from entering his native taluk Gandarvakottai was issued based on the recommendations of the Superintendent of Police P. Moorthi. The Superintendent of Police said that a special provision of the Act permitted the ban on a habitual prohibition offender from entering the home-taluk for a specified period.
