Trust vote ‘tamasha’

The recent trust vote generated a lot of interest not just in media but also from other quarters. Students were heard betting on who would win the trust vote and housewives lamented missing their daily soaps.

The impact was so immense that schoolchildren were seen re-enacting the scenes from Lok Sabha in their playtime. The kids were enacting the scene that would perhaps remain etched in memories of many for at least a while, that of MPs displaying bundles of cash in Parliament!
