A trip down memory lane

Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: For students and teachers of the Padma Seshadri Group of schools, this year’s anniversary programme is rather special.

Celebrating its golden jubilee this year, the teachers and students have put together a show that is aimed at taking viewers down memory lane, providing glimpses of its past.

At the programme here on Thursday, all three branches of the school came together in a choir, presenting a song penned by the schools’ Academic Administrator and Co-ordinator K.S. Vijayalakshmi and alumnus R.S. Murali. The song was set to music by Kalyani Kalyanaraman and Nirmal Felix.

Alladin and the magic lamp, Madhuram Sakhyam, King and I, Valli Thirumanam, Oliver Twist, Isai Vyabhaaram and Colonial Cousins were featured as part of the show.

The skits, music and dance performances have been divided between students of the three branches.
