Eye donation

Family members of Alluri Teja, 22, who died on July 20, donated his eyes to Swetcha Gora Eye Bank.

Eye Bank executive director G. Samaram said that the donated eyes were used to provide vision to V. Nagamma of Poornandampeta here.

Eye surgeon Ch. Manohar performed corneo-grafting surgery, which was successful, Dr. Samaram said.

Teja was a resident of Ketanakonda at Ibrahimpatnam near here.
