CPI demands bridge

CPI city unit secretary K. Subbaraju has demanded the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation to construct a bridge across the Ryves canal to ease the traffic congestion between Tummalapalli Kshetrayya Kala Kshetram and Police Control Room.

The bridge could be constructed between old bus stand and government hospital, he said adding that a resolution stressing the need for bridge should be moved in the VMC general body meeting.
