dated July 26, 1958: Forces of Peace

Mr. Nikita Khrushchev, the Soviet Prime Minister, speaking at a reception in honour of the Austrian Government delegation, in Moscow on July 24, said that “the forces of peace have now grown and become so strong that they are able to muzzle any aggressor and prevent war.” Declaring that it devolved upon neutral countries to play a part in the preservation of peace, Mr. Khrushchev stressed the contribution which Austria could make, Tass reported.
