Biharsharif: An inmate was killed and two others injured, one seriously, after a clash broke out among the prisoners at a divisional jail here on Friday morning. Alakhdev Mahto (65), serving life sentence, was battered to death with a brick by a fellow prisoner Arjun Singh who was also undergoing life imprisonment, Jailor Jitendra Kumar Singh said. An injured Mahto was rushed to the Sadar hospital here, where he later died.
