KARUR: Eligible students should make full use of the skill improvement training programmes sponsored by the TAHDCO, Collector T.N. Venkatesh said here on Thursday.
Speaking after inspecting a technical institute offering training to Adi Dravida students under TAHDCO sponsorship at Gandhigram here, Mr. Venkatesh said that skill development training was imparted in food production, catering, nursing, nursing assistant, fashion designing and coordination, etc. for the benefit of Adi Dravida students. The institutions should monitor the attendance of the selected students and ensure that within a short span, the training programme was completed, the Collector said. Those institutions found violating government norms would be dealt with severely, he said.
