Wheels of welfare

Distribution: Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi distributes free bicycles to standard XI students as part of a government welfare scheme, at the Secretariat in Chennai on Friday. Across the State, 5.22 lakh students will get bicycles soon. The scheme costs the government Rs. 127.63 crore. —
