Narendra plays down ‘threat’

HYDERABAD: The rebel TRS Member of Parliament A. Narendra has made light of the complaint against him to Lok Sabha Speaker by the TRS leadership for voting against the party whip in the recent confidence vote taken by the UPA government.

Referring to a recommendation made to Speaker Somnath Chatterjee by TRS chief seeking action against him under provisions of anti-defection law, Mr. Narendra dared Mr. Rao to initiate whatever step he desired. Ultimately, the Speaker will decide, he told a press conference here on Friday.
