CHENNAI: Due to breaches and water logging in Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway, there is a change in the pattern of train services on this section. The following services are to be restored: Train no.6323 Trivandrum – Shalimar Bi-weekly Express from July 26, train no.6324 Shalimar – Trivandrum Bi-weekly Express from July 27, train no.2666 Kanniyakumari – Howrah Weekly Express from July 26, train no.2665 Howrah – Kanniyakumari Weekly Express from July 28, train no. 2659 Nagercoil – Shalimar Weekly Express from July 27 and train no.2660 Shalimar – Nagercoil Weekly Express from July 30. The following services are cancelled: Train no. 5227 Yesvantpur – Muzaffarpur Weekly Express (via. Chennai Central) from July 30 to August 27, train no 5228 Muzaffarpur – Yesvantpur Weekly Express (via. Chennai Central) from July 28 to August 25, train no. 6310 Patna – Ernakulam Bi-weekly Express (via. Chennai Central) from July 31 to August 29, train no. 6309 Ernakulam – Patna Bi-weekly Express (via. Chennai Central) from July 28 to August 26, train no. 5630 Guwahati – Chennai Egmore Weekly Express from August 1 to 29, train no. 5629 Chennai Egmore – Guwahati Weekly Express from July 28 to August 25, and train no.5929 Chennai Egmore – Dibrugarh Town Weekly Express from July 31 to August 28. Operational reasonsDue to operational reasons, train no. 2664/2663 Tiruchirappalli – Howrah – Tiruchchirappalli Bi-weekly Expresses will run as Weekly Expresses ex. Tiruchirappalli on Tuesdays from July 29 and ex. Howrah on Thursdays from July 31. Train no.2863/2684 Howrah – Yesvantpur – Howrah Expresses will continue to run via. Kharagpur – Jharsuguda – Bilaspur – Nagpur – Balharshah up to August 31, according to a Southern Railway press release.
