THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Indian Railways and Max New York Life Insurance have entered into a public-private partnership to provide upgraded services to passengers in New Delhi-Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani Express. High quality flooring, clean toilets, soap and tissue paper dispensers; deodorant-based toilet flushing system, automated fragrance dispensers in all compartments and trained housekeeping staff throughout the journey are the service that await passengers. The services in the Rajdhani Express in the Delhi-Bangalore and Delhi-Chennai stretches have also been upgraded. The other partners include the Max New York Life Insurance, CTS Management (Eureka Forbes) and Peacock Media. As part of the agreement, the train will be branded as Max New York Life Thiruvananthapuram-Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express. ProfitabilityThe step will provide new and improved travel experience to the passengers and improve profitability of Railways, according to Divisional Railway Manager Titus P. Koshy.
