S/T to jazz up your Sunday

Bangalore: Formed in late 2007, S/T (Sridhar/Thayil) bring their genre-bending blues and jazz vocals to Bangalore this Sunday. The performance includes a video installation with short films by Ranbir Kaleka and Sumit Roy.

Suman Sridhar is a singer, actor and songwriter. She has directed and produced “Yoni Ki Baat” in New Jersey, U.S.Her vocals appear in independent albums including “Bliss Beyond”Jeet Thayil is a poet, songwriter and author of four books including “These Errors are Correct” (Tranquebar, 2008). He has performed with bands such as Atomic Forest, Crosswinds, Chronic Blues Band (India), and Bombay Down (NYC). With guest artists Dwight Pattison on bass and Tia Abraham on vocals, S/T will perform on Sunday at Maya, M.G. Road (above Bombay Stores) at 9 p.m.
