THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Tourism will ensure the artistic value of the pageantry to be organised by it to mark the conclusion of the forthcoming Onam celebrations in the capital on September 16. Pageantry
The organising committee of the pageantry, at a meeting held at Park View, the headquarters of Kerala Tourism, here on Saturday decided to organise a colourful pageantry from Kowdiar to East Fort in the capital city by roping in the government, quasi-government departments, private institutions, educational institutions and local self-government institutions. It was decided to set up various sub-committees to ensure the success of the programmes . District panchayat president Anavoor Nagappan presided over the meeting. V. Sivankutty, MLA, Deputy Director, Tourism, V.K. Ambujakshan Pillai, was among those who attended the meeting. MeetingAn elaborate meeting of the pageantry committee to chalk out the programmes will be held on August 6.
