90 per cent subsidy for farm ponds

NAMAKKAL: Agricultural Engineering Department will provide subsidy for farm ponds under National Agriculture Development Programme.

The department has selected Mallasamudram, Elachiapalayam, Paramathi Velur and Pudhuchatram blocks to be covered under the scheme.

The department will extend 90 percent subsidy for creating farm ponds with plastic lining/without plastic lining.
