BELGAUM: The District Principal and Sessions Court has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill vacancies in various courts in the district. According to a press release here on Saturday, there are six vacancies for the post of stenographer, 19 for typist, 15 for typist-copyist, 28 for process server and 33 vacancies for the post of sevak. The minimum education required for the post of stenographer is SSLC, senior typing, and short-hand tests (Kannada and English). For the post of typist, the candidate should have passed SSLC or its equivalent examination and senior typing test. Those applying for the post of typist-copyist should have passed SSLC or its equivalent examination and junior typing test. Those applying for the post of sevak should have passed seventh standard and should be fluent in reading and writing Kannada. Those interested may send their typed applications along with copies of necessary documents with a self-addressed envelope with Rs. 5 stamp to the District Principal and Sessions Judge, District Court Compound, Belgaum on or before August 11.
