Jaipur: An assistant engineer was on Friday dismissed by the Jaipur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Ltd(JVVNL) following his conviction by Anti-corruption court here. Om Prakash Verma, an assistant engineer, who has been convicted for one year rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1000 by anti-corruption court, has been dismissed from the Nigam service with immediate effect, said Chairman and Managing Director of Jaipur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam R. G. Gupta.
