Chitradurga: Saturday will remain a memorable day for students of Gyan Bharati Vidya Mandir. For, the school organised the annual kite-flying festival in a grand manner. Over 500 students assembled at a field near Chandravalli with colourful kites. Though the school organised a formal function to inaugurate the festival, the students appeared to be eager to fly kites as soon as they reached the venue. The school authorities had instructed the students to prepare kites at home and not to buy readymade ones. They jumped in joy as their kites began flying high.
