BELLARY: Rao Bahadur Y. Mahabaleshwarappa Engineering College, which is run by the Bellary-based Veerashaiva Vidyavardhak Sangha, has got accreditation for the six courses it offers for the next three academic years. Speaking to presspersons here on Saturday, Sangankal Indushekar, president of the sangha, said this was the second time the college had been granted accreditation by the National Board of Accreditation. Civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics, industrial, production, and instrumentation technology were the six branches that got accreditation, he said.Veerashaiva Vidyavardhak Sangha secretary Yerrappa and chairman of the college’s Governing Council Havinahal Basappa were present.
