Sanitary Inspector suspended

NEW DELHI: Municipal Commissioner K.S. Mehra has suspended Sanitary Inspector K.C. Sharma and Assistant Sanitary Inspector R.K. Gupta of Civil Lines Zone in North Delhi for alleged dereliction of duty.

The action followed an inspection of sanitary conditions at Azadpur village, Lal Bagh slum cluster, Adarsh Nagar, Jehangirpuri and Model Town staff quarters. Toilets were dirty and garbage lay strewn over the roads.
