BANGALORE: Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation G. Madhavan Nair has stressed the need to bring out science and technology publications in regional languages to help students and the common man. Speaking at a function to release the book, “India in the Space Age”, published by the Publications Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, here on Friday, Mr. Nair said that India’s achievement in science and technology was on a par with developed nations. Additional Director-General of the division, Veena Jain said “the division was catering to the needs of students and was one of the oldest and largest publications”. Chairman of Inter Media Co-ordination Committee Frank Naronha released the special issue of “Yojana Kannada August 2008”.
