IAS officers transferred

CHENNAI: The government on Saturday made another round of transfers of IAS officers in the State.

The services of R. Balakrishnan, Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Small Industries Corporation, and Chairman and Managing Director (In-charge), Tamil Nadu Industrial Explosives Limited, are placed at the disposal of the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board for appointment as its Chairman vice N. Sundaradevan, who is holding additional charge. V. Varaprasada Rao, Vice-Chairman, Science City, is transferred and posted as Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Small Industries Corporation, vice G. Santhanam, holding additional charge. A. Karthik, Joint Commissioner (Disaster Management and Mitigation), Revenue Administration Department, is transferred and posted as Additional Director of Rural Development vice Ranvir Prasad, on return from training, has been posted in the place of Mr. Karthik. P. Shanmugam, Commissioner for Disciplinary Proceedings, Chennai, transferred and posted as Commissioner of Backward Classes vice P. Annamalai, holding additional charge.

J. Uma Maheswari, Sub-Collector (Training), Tiruvallur, on completion of her executive training in the district is posted as Sub-Collector, Tiruvallur. J. Chandrakumar, Sub-Collector (Training), Coimbatore, on completion of his executive training in the district, is posted as Sub-Collector, Pollachi.
