Ramesh shines
VISAKHAPATNAM: Ramesh’s all-round show (41 and three wickets) helped Vizag Veterans beat Sarada CC by 59 runs and enter the final of the Vizag Twenty20 cricket tournament here on Saturday. Classic CC defeated Visakhapatnam CC by 29 runs and will meet Vizag Veterans in Sunday’s final.
The scores: Vizag Veterans 122 for five (Ramesh 41, Nagendra 25) bt Sarada CC 63 in 14.2 overs (Kishore four for 24, Ramesh three for four); Classic CC 102 in 15.2 overs (Santosh 38, Appala Reddy three for 20) bt VCC 73 in 18.1 overs (B.V.P. Reddy 25, M.A. Raju 25, Ramesh Reddy three for 13).
