dated July 28, 1958: Harry Warner dead

Mr. Harry Warner, one of the renowned brothers who helped to establish the film industry, died in Beverly Hills, California, on July 25 of a cerebral occlusion. He was 76. Mr. Warner and his brothers produced the first full-length talking picture and thereby launched a new era in the film industry. Mr. Warner is survived by his brothers Jack and Albert. Mr. Jack Warner succeeded him as President of the Warner Brothers Studios last year and Mr. Albert Warner is a Studio Executive.
