THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Geethu Anna Jose’s sterling performance in Big V Division 2 basketball has carried her team the Ringwood Lady Hawks into the final four. Ringwood topped the league by scoring 11th consecutive wins and rounded off its engagements with an 81-64 win over Shepparton Gators. Geethu Anna Jose played a big role scoring 429 points from 20 matches. She averaged 21.4 points per match and took 290 rebounds (185 defensive and 105 offensive). Geethu’s highest score in a match was 33 points which she scored against Blackburn. The final four would start in the first week of August and Ringwood plays fourth placed Cragieburn Eagles in a best of three series. The winner will qualify for the grand final which will be a three game series.
