IJM Steel begins production

SANGAREDDY: IJM Steel products private limited a subsidiary of Malaysian infrastructure giant the IJM Corporation Berhad, launched a first of its kind welded wire mesh manufacturing factory in the country at Isnapur industrial in Medak district on Sunday. Chief executive officer and managing director of IJM Corporation Dato Krishnan Tan declared the plant open at a simple function. The plant which has an installed capacity of 12,000 tons of welded mesh per annum was built at a cost of Rs. 21 crore. The WWM products cut down the time taken in the construction of buildings and also reduce wastages. Later addressing the press Mr. Dato Krishnan said that the firm would double its installed capacity in Isnapur unit within three years.
