Muzaffarnagar: Police on Sunday identified a headless body recovered some days ago at Jaga Heri village as that of an Army jawan. The jawan Sarvan Kumar who had come to his village on leave was missing since July 15, police said. On July 16, police found a headless body in a nearby forest. After it remained unclaimed for some days, they cremated the body following a post-mortem. Kumar’s family members on Sunday identified the body from his clothes, police said adding, the head is yet to be recovered.
