Shimla: Himachal Pradesh aims to provide affordable, reliable and quality power to industry and consumers and make it a major revenue earner, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said while delivering a lecture on ‘HPPCL Power Development lecture-2008’ here on Sunday. Mr. Dhumal said that the State Government aims to make the power generation a major source of revenue and in this process all the players would be involved and provided a level playing field in a fair and transparent manner. He said that by the end of 12th Five year Plan, Himachal Pradesh would achieve 18,000 MW of power generation.
