East Godavari receives good rainfall

Kakinada: With the revival of monsoon, most parts of the district have been receiving good amount of rains for the last few days and the forecast looks impressive. The Agency areas of Maredumilli mandal recorded the highest rainfall of 15.4 mm in the last 24 hours against the lowest 0.6 mm in Rajahmundry rural. The rainfall recorded in other mandals in millimetres are: Allavaram 2.6, Amalapuram 1.2, Ambajipeta 1.,8 Anaparthi 1.4, Bikkavolu 1, Gokavaram 1.2, Kadiam 1, Kotananduru 1, Kothapeta 1, Malkipuram 8.2, Mandapeta 2.2, Rajavommangi 2.4, Razole 2.2, Rowthulapudi 7, Sakhinetipalli 4.2, Tondangi 1.2, Tuni 0.9, and Y.Ramavaram 8.9. – Staff Reporter
