Agricultural activities gain momentum

Sirsi: Agricultural activities have gained momentum in Uttara Kannada following rain in the district for the last four days. The rain has renewed the hopes of farmers of a good kharif yield.

The Agricultural Department has said that there was adequate stock of seeds and fertilisers in the Raitha Sampark Kendras in the district.

The department has taken steps to supply seeds to all farmers.

Water-levels in the reservoirs in the district have risen following rain in catchment areas.
