THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Defence Minister A.K. Antony has promised support for setting up a High Court Bench in the city. Mr. Antony has said that a Cabinet decision was taken on this during his tenure as Chief Minister and had received a favourable response from the Union government. However, the only hitch was the opinion of the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court, the Minister told a delegation of Thiruvananthapuram Bar Association representatives who met him in New Delhi recently. The indefinite Satyagraha launched by the members of the Bar association in front of the Vanchiyoor court complex completed 164 days on Sunday.
