Paddy procurement price to be raised

Mankada: The support price for paddy would be raised from the present rate of Rs.10 per kg, Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan has said. He was addressing a gathering after inaugurating a mini civil station at Perinthalmanna. Mr. Achuthanandan said the State government had already raised it from Rs.7 to Rs.10. — Staff Reporter
