Naidu modifies ‘Meekosam’ programme

HYDERABAD: After the conclusion of his ‘Mee kosam’, the public contact programme, a few weeks from now, Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu plans to divide his time equally between touring the districts and staying at the party headquarters.

On his 93rd day of ‘Meekosam’, he addressed a dozen meetings and road shows in adjoining Ranga Reddy before entering Mahbubnagar district late on Sunday night. His hectic schedule started with a meeting of party cadres at a function hall in Tukkuguda.

Telling cadres that ‘Meekosam’ had generated tremendous response from people and cadres alike, Mr. Naidu asked them if he should continue. A few of his partymen responded that while the programme was a success, they felt his presence at NTR Memorial Trust Bhavan here was also necessary. He responded saying that henceforth, he would spend three days a week with people in the districts and at NTR Memorial Trust Bhavan.

The TDP president’s road shows at Tukkuguda, Maheswaram, Thummalur, Lachadur Gate, Gudur, Kandukur Gate, Mucherlapet and Kadtal were well-attended.
