New Delhi: Light showers in different parts of the city provided the much needed relief to Delhiites with the mercury marking a drop and the minimum temperature falling by two degree Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded at 25.5 degree Celsius as against 27.1 degree Celsius on Saturday, was also two degrees less than the average temperature, Meteorological department officials said. Normal temperatureThe maximum temperature, recorded at 33.5 degree Celsius, was one degree less than that of the normal temperature. Light showers were reported in different parts of the city and a total of 15.7 mm of rainfall was reported till 17.15 pm on Sunday evening. “The weather department forecasts partly clouded sky with possibility of rain or thundershowers towards afternoon and evening,” the Met office said.- PTI
