TIRUPATI: Teenager Amresh Ganesh has brought out a music album, which has a long list of first-of-its-kind accomplishments. Released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi, it becomes the first album to be composed by an adolescent that is simultaneously released in four languages. The album has numbers dwelling on the concept of life. RPG Saregama is marketing the product across the country.

The 18-year-old, who is currently pursuing a visual communication course in Loyola College, Chennai, already has a diploma in music. Incidentally, what is set to make a music connoisseur get curious about the music is the versatility of Amresh’s keyboard.

No percussion, string or wind instruments were used during recording and the keyboard took care of everything, including tabla, dholak, trumpet and guitar!

The album would not have become a talking point but for the parental guidance and encouragement from his mother and yesteryear actress Jayachitra.Jayachitra identified the hidden talent in her son and cheered him up to go ahead.

What started as a simple leisure play on the keyboard took the mammoth shape of a mega music project. Leading playback singers like S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, Sujatha, Tippu, Harini, Mahati and Kartik were roped in. Senior lyricist Vairamuthu wielded the pen in the Tamil version ‘Vaazhkai’, while Hanumantha Rao translated the same for the Telugu ‘Jeevitham’. The duo after offering prayers at Tirumala spoke to the media here on Sunday. Jayachitra called it a formal release after thanksgiving to the Lord.

The four versions of the album had already been released by veteran director K. (Tamil), actor Murali Mohan (Telugu), former Union Minister T. Subbarami Reddy (Hindi) and director Hariharan (Malayalam) at a function in Chennai recently, which was graced by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi.

Buoyed by the response to the album, Amresh announced to make it big in the film industry soon.
