Ph.D. entrance test: Applications have been invited for the entrance examinations for qualifying to register for Ph.D. and M.Sc. engineering programmes.

The dates of the examinations, scheduled for November, will be notified later. The examination fee is Rs. 750. The completed application forms can be submitted till August 30.

MA linguistics: Applications have been invited for admission to a few vacancies in the MA programme in the Department of Linguistics (general, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories). Further details can be had from the department on ph: 241 8469.

B.Sc. electronics:The practical examinations of the fourth semester B.Sc. electronics examinations scheduled for July 28, 29 and 30 will now be held on July 29, 30 and 31, respectively. There is no change in the venue of the examinations or in the time.

M.Sc. home science: The viva voce of the fourth semester M.Sc. home science examinations which were first scheduled for July 21 will be held on July 30 and the practical examination scheduled for July 22 will now be held on August 4.

The examinations will begin at 9.30 a.m.

M.Sc. zoology practical examinations: The fourth semester M.Sc. zoology practical examinations which were first scheduled for July 21 and 22 will now be held on August 5 and 6, respectively.

The detailed timetable can be had from the examination centre.

M.Sc. physics: The viva voce and practical examinations of the fourth semester M.Sc. physics examinations will be held at various centres from August 4 to 26.

MA music: The practical of the fourth semester MA Music examinations will begin on July 28 and the viva, on August 8.
