Kakinada: The Kakinada Port Stevedores’ Association elected Gadam Mahesh as its president in the general body meeting held on Monday. Chalasani Narasimha Rao was elected vice-president, Prathi Venkateswara Rao secretary, A Venkatachalam treasurer, K Venugopal, D Murali Krishan, T Ramachandra Rao, D Kasi and SVLNR Murthy executive members, according to an official release. Addepalli Rama Krishna has been authorized to continue as advisor. The elections were conducted in the presence of Cocanada Chamber of Commerce chairman Dantu Surya Rao.
