VLT applicants to get 60 pc waiver

The Guntur Municipal Corporation has appealed to people, whose land was vacant in the corporation limits in the city to apply for levy of Vacant Land Tax on or before July 31 to become eligible for 60 per cent waiver of the VLT amount. Municipal Commissioner Siddhartha Jain in a release on Monday said that those who had not paid the VLT so far, could avail of the opportunity in the next three days and avoid additional payment.
