Gang of autorickshaw lifters busted

WARANGAL: The district police nabbed a four member notorious gang and recovered 18 autorickshaw from them. According to SP, V.C. Sajjanar the police arrested Perla Sambaiah, Sd. Afzal, Sk. Yakub, Sk. Thyab and Sd. Yakub who had been stealing autorickshaws and selling them by changing numbers.
They stole autorickshaws from different places in Karimnagar and Warangal districts.
Vehicle checks
They all belong to Warangal district. The police while conducting vehicle checking at Raghunathpalli mandal spotted two autorickshaw drivers who were trying to escape from the police.
During the interrogation, they revealed the crime and provided clue about those involved. The police arrested all the accused and recovered vehicles worth Rs. 16.2 lakh.
