THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State government has issued guidelines for organising survey adalats to redress complaints regarding resurvey. Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran said on Tuesday that the adalats were being organised to dispose of more that two lakh complaints remaining with the District Survey Superintendents. These complaints would now be transferred to the resurvey superintendents concerned. The Minister said the public could file complaints with the resurvey offices every Wednesday and these could be put up on government websites and notice boards of District Survey Superintendents, Resurvey Superintendents and villages offices. Petitions would normally be considered only on first-come first-serve basis. However, exemptions would be given if related to weddings, loans or revenue recovery. Appeals would lay with the Survey Director.
