Chandigarh: Punjab would host the five-day-long 14th National Youth Festival at Amritsar from January 12 to 16, next year. Disclosing this here on Tuesday, Gulzar Singh Ranike, Punjab’s Sports and Youth Services Minister, said a high-level meeting was held between Punjab Chief Minister, Parkash Singh Badal and Union Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs M S Gill regarding this. Mr. Ranike said that the festival would be organised jointly by the Centre and State. Each Government would spend Rs two crore for the festival, which would showcase the diversity of Indian Culture at its best. PTI
