TDP favours monsoon session as scheduled
Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party Leader K. Yerran Naidu on Tuesday demanded the monsoon session of Parliament as scheduled on August 11. He expressed fears that the Government would postpone it.
At a press conference here, he said the Government was afraid to face Parliament as its “misdeeds” would be exposed.
Referring to the outcome of the trust vote, he said the UPA regime had won it “technically” through inducements but lost the confidence of people. The Centre had “murdered democracy” by allegedly “purchasing” MPs and urged people to “hang the Congress in the next elections”.
